Important FA Rule Changes
The FA has introduced some updates to the rules across grassroots football this season. One notable change relates to the role of team captains during matches. To stay fully up to date and understand these changes, please check out the official guidance here: FA Rule Changes - Only the Captains .

Season Fixtures Announced
The fixtures for the new season have now been released by most local leagues and are fully updated on the 360Player app. Please ensure your notifications are turned on in the app so you don’t miss any important updates or match information.

Thank You to B&A for Supporting Our Off-Season Pitch Maintenance

At Port of Bristol Youth FC, we’re incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our local community and this summer, we’d like to give a special shoutout to B&A Group for their generous donation of topsoil to help us carry out much-needed pitch maintenance during the off-season.

Keeping our pitches in usable condition is a constant challenge, especially with the volume of football played throughout the year. The addition of topsoil has allowed us to make important improvements to worn and uneven areas, helping to create a better environment for training and matches.

B&A Group, based locally in Bristol, are specialists in transport, recycling, and aggregate services. Their willingness to support grassroots sport is greatly appreciated by everyone at the club.

A Successful Weekend for Port of Bristol Youth FC – Thank You to Our Incredible Community!

What a weekend it was for Port of Bristol Youth Football Club – full of passion, teamwork, and unforgettable moments both on and off the pitch. As a grassroots football club rooted in the heart of our community, we are incredibly proud of what we achieved together over the past few days.

From our youngest squads to our most experienced age groups, the energy, commitment, and sportsmanship shown across all matches was a true reflection of the values we stand for at Port of Bristol Youth FC. Every game played was a celebration of youth football and the progress being made by our talented young players.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the visiting teams and their supporters who joined us over the weekend. The spirit of grassroots football is built on respect, friendly competition, and shared experiences, and it was fantastic to welcome so many clubs who embody those values. Your efforts on the pitch and your support off it helped make this weekend one to remember.

This weekend, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025 , the Port of Bristol Youth FC Tournament returns bigger and better than ever. Taking place at the Port of Bristol Sports & Community Centre, we’re proud to welcome teams from across Bristol, the South West, and beyond to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of grassroots football .

Whether you're a local football fan, family member, or just love supporting community events, this is a weekend not to miss!

A Weekend of Football, Friendship, and Fun

Over two action-packed days, we’ll be hosting hundreds of young players representing every age group , from Under-6s all the way to Under-16s. Matches will run throughout the day on multiple pitches, creating a festival atmosphere that showcases the talent, teamwork, and passion that define grassroots football in the UK.

This is more than just a tournament, it’s a celebration of youth sport, community spirit, and the dedication of local volunteers, coaches, and families.
